Tragedy struck when my son lost his life in an instant. While working on his car, he jacked it up, removed the tire, and searched for an oil leak. The jack slipped. The weight of the car crushed his chest. There was no time for pain, no chance to react—just an immediate, irreversible loss.

One day, while walking through the grocery store with my wife, I made a joke—one that would change everything. Walking by a shelf of prenatal vitamins, I laughed and said, “I don’t need prenatal vitamins, I need PreFatal vitamins!”The words stuck. That night, I went home and researched the term. I realized something profound—everything is PreFatal. Life is short. Time is unforgiving and I’m not done yet.
Not long after, another life-altering moment followed. While carrying cat litter into the house, I felt and heard my backbone crack. In just days, I went from a strong, able-bodied man to someone struggling to walk. Life as I knew it was slipping away.
